About the Project
Metro Self Storage operates two Dartmouth, Nova Scotia locations — both of which were ready for a full lighting upgrade. Wadden Electric was engaged to handle the entire scope of the energy efficiency project across both sites, replacing legacy interior and exterior fixtures with high-efficiency LED throughout.
Beyond the install, our team worked directly with Efficiency Nova Scotia to facilitate funding for the customer. By aligning the fixture selection and project documentation with available rebate programs, we were able to secure significant project savings — turning what looked like a straightforward retrofit into a measurable long-term win on energy costs, light quality, and operating margin.
Both facilities now run brighter, more uniform, and more secure lighting at a fraction of the previous load — and continue to benefit from the lower lamp-maintenance cycle that comes with quality commercial LED.
